What I Do
Day to Day
These days I lead a pod on the engineering team, building a greenfield automation platform. A lot of it is focused on weaving AI into how we ship. After hours I'm usually tinkering with AI harnesses, DJing with friends, taking photos, or automating my apartment way more than necessary.
What I'm Into
Some stuff I do for work, some for fun. Sometimes both.
Software Development
I lead a pod on the team building our greenfield automation platform, designing systems, shipping features, and helping the engineers I work with do the same. Mostly I just like making complicated things feel simple to use.
Smart Home Stuff
My apartment is basically a side project that never ships. It's full of sensors, automations, and a little server doing things mostly because I wanted to see if I could.
AI & Design
This is the thing I'm most into right now. At work I build AI agent tooling and harnesses that get our codebase into a shape agents can actually work in, and in my free time I'm usually building more of them, just to see how far the agentic stuff can go. Most fun I've had with code in years.
DJ & Music Discovery
I dig through way too much music looking for tracks that hit just right, then DJ them for friends when we're all hanging out. Strictly for the fun of it.
Photography
I shoot when I travel or when the light's doing something worth stopping for. Some of it ends up in the gallery here.
Music Nerd
I go embarrassingly deep on music, with playlists organized like a database and too many hours reading about it. The obsession is kind of the point.
How I Think About It
I love where people and technology meet, building things that genuinely have a positive impact on the people who use them.
Keep it simple: If I need to explain how something works, I probably made it too complicated.
Make it useful: Cool tech is nice, but useful tech actually improves someone's day.
Always learning: I lead a small team now, and the best part is I'm still learning from everyone I work with.
Want to Work Together?
Whether you've got a team that values solid engineering (and a good time building it), or you just want to talk music and tech, I'd love to hear from you.
